Big corporations hiding the fact that we're paying more and getting less is probably a fairly wide-ranging problem, and I think it's both fair and actually a pretty good thing to get annoyed about it

What are you supposed to write in the appeal form for some of these mature content auto-flags (Tumblr version)? Sometimes, it's basically like:

"No, this isn't mature content; it's just orange. Literally, it's an orange."

Currently at 29 emails, several of which are reversals.

That makes sense! I'm definitely a "jump around the timeline" kind of person XD

You can do it!

I'm not saying "give up" at all! Just that it helps sometimes to write silly little ficlets in chat, or to stop and write something shorter with the same characters, to get yourself unstuck. At least if the other options don't help much.

I pretty much waited six months and did a bunch of playing with the characters in different situations and then came back to it.

We are now up to 12 emails.

I got a flurry of seven emails from Pinterest saying that I had pins "related to self-harm" that had been removed from my account.

When I go to the "Pinterest Reports and Violations Center", I only see one pin, which is already marked as "reinstated". This is the Pin in question.

I DID update my fic yesterday but haven't been on social media much so I didn't post about it. XD

Cancelled my Discord Nitro. Going to spend a couple days playing with alternate server things and then I'll invite some people.

The thing is, I was paying for Nitro. Paying to self-host an instance somewhere is not really an impediment.

The balls Discord has to introduce an age verification update after they already had a major data breach back in October.

The idea that you can look at the world and its flaws and its injustices and its cruelties and get deeply, intensely angry, and that you can turn that into energy for doing the right thing and making the world a better place.
