Excited to announce that you can read my new Teia/Illario fic as part of this zine!

Text: Rara Avis Zine Contributor Preview: Illario is known to be a bit of a romantic, so he can be excused for the cliché of feeling like her touch through his clothing burns like a brand. “Teia,” he begs—whether for mercy, for succour, or for her to just stab him through the heart and end this charade, he doesn’t know. When he comes begging to Zara, it’s not like this. When he plays with targets and dalliances, it’s not like this. His body feels safe around Teia, and that’s *not something he can afford.* “Illario,” says Teia, gently, as he looks down into her eyes, so much closer than they should be, “I really don’t think you should be alone right now.” [End Text.] The image uses gold and purple colours to match the Antivan Crow theme, and includes the Crow logo/mark, which is a mask with a beak and feathers extending upward.

Awkward times when you've just been dreaming through an idiots-to-lovers plot with your romantic partner of over a decade.

More often, I'm caught up in the story of the dream and I have to remind myself who *I* am. Reality remains relatively consistent, although the rules might vary a bit.

I love him, and I love that he appears to be standing on the head of Sam the Eagle, who is clearly making an exasperated comment about it. It's the teamup I never knew I wanted.

I think that last repost is sweet, and I do love both Neve/Lucanis and Rook/Lucanis.

I feel he has a profound respect for Neve's shrewdness. She's discerning and has a lot of the qualities he respects in other crows. Neve is the type of person he would usually go for, whereas Rook represents something totally unexpected. A miracle he didn't know could exist
