I really liked the trend at first since I took it as shown in the picture as well. I was then a bit frustrated that it became again a trend that just means sketch -> finished product, like all the others, because nobody online is allowed to make bad art on the internet.

see, this was my original understanding of the "make it exist first" sentiment. I don't know why people took it to mean "make the sketch and then finish it"

just make it. finish it. and then you can improve it later if you want, but the important thing is just that you make it

Younger me was extremely harsh when it came to the technical aspects. I told myself that I was not good enough to make the thing I wanted and that I would make it later when as an adult. Grown-up me has no time nor am I "good enough". However I must make it now or I won't be able to make it at all.
