I absolutely see ZYL retiring from the SID but Shen Wei would probably have a harder time letting the university go. They both have a tendency to find trouble/danger, so even if they did both retire, they'd still have full time jobs keeping each other safe.

I think it depends who goes evil. Like if it's Yunlan? Shen Wei is ride or die. They can be murder husbands. If it's Shen Wei, then Yunlan isn't turning him in but he'll be trying to make Shen Wei play nicer. Not necessarily "return" to normal, but maybe no one dies, Xiao Wei 🥺

I don't know the exact answer, but Shen Wei would be INTENSE about it. (I mean, think of what he did with that lollipop wrapper and that was just Zhao Yunlan littering in the past.) Zhao Yunlan, on the other hand, would have to improve his housekeeping so he wouldn't lose whatever Shen Wei gave him.
