*Ry'denn & Sh'r'kon are sitting together by a campfire at night, Sh'r'kon looking over at Ry'denn to ask a question. Sh'r'kon: Hey Ry'denn? You ever wonder why we were put here? Ry'denn: One of life's greatest mysteries, is it not? Sh'r'kon: Not what I was thinking. *Sh'r'kon looks up towards the starry night sky, with Ry'denn leaning over to pay further attention. Ry'denn: How so, then? Sh'r'kon: We're from creches, right? But wound up here... Why? Ry'denn: Can you not recall how you did? Sh'r'kon: I don't think I could if I tried. *It cuts to a flashback, starting with a close up of Sh'r'kon as a child. He had his white, wavy hair back then, but had a normal githyanki nose. He looks, mouth agape with suprise. Sh'r'kon: I remember wanting to escape. And as it happened... IT gave me a ticket out of there. *The younger Sh'r'kon watches as a giant, mechanical being drops another Githyanki child into a portal, The Hole, before looking down at him in a shot that captures more of it. It's hourglass-shaped form is decorated with filigree and embossed details similar to that of the Steel Watch, with imagery of a moon with wings adorned on the disk on top of its faceless head.

Sh'r'kon: I don't rmember if it was for me at first... But I guess it didn't want to leave me behind. *Kid Sh'r'kon holds out his hand towards the giant robot, who crouches down to get close, sporting cartoony eyes to show it's charmed by the child's adorable energy. *The robot reaches for Sh'r'kon's hand... And crushes his arm with a crunch. It starts to panic. Something starts to appear from behind the robot. The robot: Oh no oh no oh no. Oh my child. Sh'r'kon I barely knew it. I twas so big and imposing... But it was so gentle. It only meant well.

*The robot frantically points towards the giant hole as an army of Githyanki warriors charge towards the mechanical beeing with spears and arrows. The robot: young one, please get in the hole and look after the other chlid. *Kid Sh'r'kon, whose arm is bent and jagged, points towards the hole with a casual look on his face. He has not acknowledged that his arm's fucked at all. The robot, in thought: I hope is this is the right thing to do... *Sh'r'kon leaps down into the whole as the robot begins to sprint away from the charging army, sword in hand, now on its way to get the fuck outta here.

You got helped as well? Ry'denn: Indeed. T'was how I got to Waterdeep... And you? Sh'r'kon: I... I'd prefer to not think about that. I'd much rather think about who my savior wa- *Sh'r'kon is interupted by the robot returning, leaping out from giant portal from the trees. Ry'denn, pointing towards the robot: Was it that?

*The robot looks at the two, comically blinking before its eyes widen in suprise and realisation. Caught up in surprise, the robot loses track of where it is, proceeding to eat dirt. Out of its head, a horned man pops out of it with a splat, naked and covered in fluid. The robot pilot, recovering from his fall: Hwuaahhh... The robot pilot a second later: You two grew up to be HOT?!
