i always say i hate people as in a mass of humans … but i like persons on an individual basis.

layers, fleece leggings, a toque and a balaclava, and fuzzy mitts helped me … and she was unbothered, besides being a bit annoyed some of her sniff spots were frozen.

thankfully, the sidewalks are pretty much clear … ice will keep us home more than cold will, i think.

she loves her walks so much … i bundled up and it wasn’t so bad when we were in the sun and in the spots with no wind. 🤣 meanwhile, she doesn’t mind the cold at all!

when lunch is pringles, cheese, gherkins, and a cranberry ginger ale … it must be december.

i can not feel my face.

but cocoa is happy.

i'm working with a client who i first met a few years ago when he was just starting, working for a vendor for one of my long-time clients, and now he's in a management position and i'm building them a new website.

and i absolutely love that.

it's so frustrating, and makes your life feel small ... if that makes sense ... any trip outside of town feels like a journey and i need to weigh if it's worth it.

i think she likes it here. and i love her so much.

she's slowly unwinding my anxious brain, and she's brought silliness and laughter back into the house. i honestly can't get over how lucky i am she's in my life.

my phone is on dnd from 8pm on, and i will check my calls before i go to sleep around 10pm to see if they called. because it could happen!

it's such a huge challenge ... and it's constant. like, i have to remind myself to relax when i'm driving ... and i have to not be too warm ... and i'm just so aware of everything. it's exhausting!
