Sometimes we have expectations of ourselves that exceed what expectations other have. I remember when people told me I was particularly good at something, and I felt I wasnt. I would beat myself up, not realizing that, to those people, I really was good at the thing they told me about. I just, (1/2)

I tried to suicide at age 22 with those feelings. I realized, finally, that they were untrue. I truly hope that you see those thoughts as untrue. You have, with your art, changed my life for the better. Not in huge ways, in small ways. That, I believe, is the effect we have on each other
