The great marketing success in the co-opting of the term "AI" frustrates me to no end.
Once upon a time AI meant something completely different: It was a Sci-Fi thought experiment, it was a truly thinking machine, it was a robot that says "I Live", and unambiguously did. This permeated culture.

A dream come true to work on a toku related project and it's with GODZILLA, I can't believe in my lifetime I would ever get this opportunity, especially with Sonic as well!

I didn't realize that there's a lot of franchises that have their anniversary this year!

Actually insane! To think Luigi's Mansion is 25 years old now alongside Pikmin.

I'm getting old. Seeing Metroid hitting 40 as well as Zelda is already pinching a nerve for me LOL

But even so, I think that if you platonically love a friend(s) enough, it shouldn't hurt to just say "fuck it" and try to work out some kind of compromise to see each other because you never know when something might happen and suddenly they never log back on again...

I understand with the way the world is right now, it is very discouraging and difficult for friends in different states/countries to get together just for fun, especially if it costs a good amount of money.

Sudden thread I know but this post has made me want to share my thoughts on why I think this is really important.

I'm just gunna come out and say it but voice calls are not good replacements for actually hanging with your friends in a physical place. It's a good substitute but not the same thing.

Went to the funeral of someone I made online friends with through the Cheap Ass Gamer forums back in 2008. If you can, try to meet your online friends in real life at least once.
