I wouldn't trust him as a playoff insurance plan. I'm thinking more like "desperate for anything" team, like Philly. Buy low, and hope you strike gold type of deal.

Bilingual account. Lover of sports, food, dogs and learning every else in between. Habs fan Colts fan Father of 2. Very blessed. Oh, and I'm not here to trash Twitter/X.

27.12.2024 19:40 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It's sad how Primeau juat crumbled under pressure, when the opportunity came to cement his career as a full-time NHLer.
He has nobody else to blame but himself either.
I really hope they send him down, build his confidence again, so that a team offers a late pick, around the the trade deadline.
Uh hum
A top 6 of;
Laine-XXX- Demidov
Caufield-Suzuki-Slafkovski
will be sooooo much fun to watch, starting in 25-26.
That C could be Dach, but only if he gets his pre-injury acceleration and production going by the end of the year.
If not, Habs will have to draft or invest.
With the way they're playing at the moment, is it that farfetched an idea, that a team may actually call Kent Hughes and offer something (pick, B level prospect) for Gallagher or Anderson?
18.12.2024 01:48 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I thought no Michael Hage was bad, but no Beckett Sennecke is a fireable offense imo.
02.12.2024 16:15 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Flip Heineman and Newhook. Please. Suggested it a week ago...imploring it now
01.12.2024 23:17 β π 65 π 4 π¬ 9 π 0Agreed.
He's a great gamble player for sure, but the Habs aren't in a spot to give them draft capital right now, for a risk at that position.
In order, realistically, it's:
- An elite n.1 Center
- A high goal-scoring potential winger
- An all-around high-level talented winger (another Demidov)
I agree with Campbell, it wouldn't have been a good look on Reinbacher selection.
There's a couple things to consider here.
1) We already have Mailloux who's a PPG in the AHL, incapable of making the roster already.
2) If we are to package a 1st, we have WAY bigger needs up front imo.
I don't understand the panic as to why the Canadiens didn't win the Jiricek trade front.
A young right-hand defensman, is one of our last pressing needs.
I'm all for packaging our plethora of assets to target 1 specific area with a potential elite player.
It has to be an area of weakness though.
Perdre Mailloux et le remplacer par un Trouba 9 ans plus vieux Γ 8 mil $ annuellement, c'est un gros non pour moi.
29.11.2024 17:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Absolutely ridiculous season.
It's grand theft to have gotten him in the 3rd round.
He does actually.
Yes Will Smith and Cutter Gauthier are gone, but the consensus n.1 overall pick in the next draft, James Hagens, joined the club.
Meh.
I load the diahwasher better than misses does.
A night we will NEVER forget.
I remember counting down every minute to that game when I was a kid.
Apparently it was all fabricated.
NOT MY WORDS.
What in the world are you supposed to obtain from that place?
22.11.2024 01:58 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0There's some nights though this season that the blame is on Montembault only, where he was straight up terrible.
Consistency is his Achilles heel in 24-25.
When he's hot, he's hot.
But when he's not.. it's a different story.
Grant's video of Kirby's defensive assignment, and masterful execution against Connor McDavid, has restored my confidence in him.
Evans centering the 2nd line is a cute little story he can share later on, but we need to get serious here. We need someone like Dach, with a lot more natural abilities.
My goodness, that is NOT news I wanted to wake up to this morning.
MTL finally had decent chemistry up front with Martinez, Caiden Clark and Bryce Duke.
Now we have to start all over again.
We know Coccaro isn't rhe answer, & Vilsaint isn't ready.
Hopefully, they wake up and spend real money.
Jim Montgomery took an overrated roster, under an overrated management team, and had results that were nothing short of miraculous.
Boston, on paper, had no business finishing where they did in the last 2 years.
If Montgomery doesn't find work in the next 2 weeks, someone's not doing his job.
Thank you. I appreciate it.

Thank you.
That asphalt is so embarrassingly "QuΓ©becois" paved.

How in the world is Alexander Ovechkin scoring at a 65 goal season pace, at 39 years old?!
He's not only going to beat Gretzky's record, he's going to do it with a little but of juice left in the tank.
I thought he was going to reach it by 26-27, while in a steady decline, struggling.
My bad..
En voilΓ un dont je m'attends Γ un peu plus en 2025.
Marshall-Rutty doit Γͺtre plus convainquant offensivement, et surtout dans les duels.
I think Newhook is the one that will benefit the most from Laine's return.
I think we should use it as a confidence booster, more than a wake-up call imo.
It's time for Evans to get out of the top-6
Slaf-Suzuki-Dach
Caufield-Newhook-Laine
Is what I'd start with.
I'm glad to see one more of the OG boys here.
