The only drawback of installing a larger battery? slightly bent board but I think it’ll be fine

A few days ago I got the urge to open up my keyboard and found out that the battery had an 8 month old baby in its belly (no wonder why it was only lasting 10 minutes). Bought and installed a 10,000 mAh battery instead of the original 4,000 and after 10 days, it's at 98%

I'm currently working on two separate products, for which I'm mostly making decisions alone about the technical side of things and I have so many topics that I could talk about for hours. I really need to have a place to share my thoughts about them

But also:
- I like to feel the pain when I do something wrong. It helps me learn/grow and understand better how things work. It keeps my skills sharp.

AI misses something that we often refer to as “soul”. For sure in some years it can replace me for what I do but at its current stage, it lacks having _the process_ of creativity which I’m not sure if it’ll ever reach that point

Man, I didn’t know it was this hard to even get noticed by companies that are hiring web devs. I’m about a month in and still haven’t even had a single interview.

What if... now hear me out here.. what if AI is not a fundamental shift in the world order? And is merely a tool? An tool that's imperfect at times but useful some of time? And completely useless at other times? 🤯 Has anyone in our industry considered that?

There are so many things to learn, so many things to do, yet my brain often thinks tomorrow is the end of the world and I haven't done anything

And working on a team where people have more experience than you is really a different thing and I miss that.

The thing about working alone is that you are learning things the "hard way", and by this, I mean that most of the times you're making a mistake that you're not aware of, and it's going to take a few days to realize what's been going on

After almost 2 years of working on personal projects and participating in Telegram hackathons (which I regret), I'm running out of saved money. I need to start looking for an actual paying job

I'm this 🤏 close to finishing my NixOS setup and starting to daily drive it. The next step is going to be using the same config for my Mac.

That's for sure. I was really curious to see if it could have one year of uptime without any issues.

I'm not here to say that Windows or Linux is bad (Windows is bad), but the amount of stability of the Mac computers is on another level. I occasionally use Linux and I'm currently trying to learn and set up my NixOS, which I really enjoy doing but my MacBook is for getting some work done

366 days since I last restarted my M1 MacBook. I'm not sure if I can achieve the same with any other Linux or Windows machine without being careful not to break it when I'm daily driving (skill issue, maybe?)
