“The Federal Government has terminated its contract to host Naturalization ceremonies at the Heritage Theatre effective 3/12/2025.”
The ceremony is also cancelled in Oakland, the only other Bay Area location. Still looking for answers but it’s happened in OR and VA as well.

I belong to League of Women Voters, we register new citizens to vote after the regularly scheduled swearing-in ceremonies held at the Campbell Heritage Theater, which has hosted them for years. This week the ceremony was cancelled and the contract for future ceremonies terminated:

We have reached new levels of madness when an unelected, non senate-confirmed private citizen is overseeing an effort to overhaul or possibly end a congresionally mandated arm of our government.
This is real trouble for the separation of powers, and with it, our basic democratic institutions.
