This is a map showing the orientation of diopside in a deformed symplectite. This used to be an omphacite, which tells us that the rock used to be at very high pressure (great depth). βοΈπ§ͺ

Yes I understand that. The goal is not to provide an exact measurement, but a context. Is the field of view the size of a coin, a car, or a house. It's probably not as clear with this image. But photos of sand dunes for example can be very misleading without such context.
