I meant "Bear with me," but "bare," as in to undress, made the sentence telling the other person to get naked with them. Which, since it was Nix to Max, I guess they wouldn't have minded! 😅

In Gravity's Fire, the magical look down on the non-magical as beneath them and the non-magical think the magical are arrogant bullies. Nix feels the divide spreads discrimination. While he can't change that for the whole school, he can with his friends from the two groups.

They call it a cat kicker toy and there's all kinds of variations in shape, size, design, etc.
