I just remember the days of rolling up with Mono R heroic. Never 5-0'd but hoooo boy stealing wins on the cheap and wiping the smirks off the faces of the sweaty grinders felt so good. Guarantee you there are budget brews that they can convert with and upgrade as they go.

Jfc they should just go on arena and test decks before buying anything. I remember when I tried to get into the comp scene trying to play with what I had and I almost quit the game in frustration. Totally respect not wanting to play meta decks and just brew, but there are smarter ways to do that...

I think Winston Draft may be the ideal limited experience. It rewards players that draft from first principles and love puzzles and problem solving. Lorwyn and TMNT do NOT have draft synergy, but it was rewarding for us both to end up with fun and functional decks! Surprising no one I am on WG 😅

Still tuning the idea but think 2015 Era Abzan in Modern with a dash of legacy Nic Fit!

Portable washing machine

Our apartment complex has over 20 units with no in unit laundry and the only machines on site are ONE OLD washer and dryer pair. Good luck making sure your load dries the first 4 dollar attempt. We have been using these portable washers now for years, not perfect but at least I can stay home

Hey look, my best friend is super into steak dinner. I have and will continue to help him make it and will enjoy it with him. I just feel like there is some cultural obsession with steak that I have just never really understood 🤷‍♂️

Steak dinner is overrated, not afraid to say it.

It isn't *BAD* but it is insanely over priced and compared to so many other dishes it is just boring

I don't necessarily mean in terms of age, but in experience. I lived a sheltered existence and I think in retrospect that was obvious in what I would put to paper. Now at 35, I have been close to rock bottom. I have found love and acceptance. I have found an inkling of a voice. I could try again

When I was younger, I always thought I would have published something. I used to tinker around with poetry, lyrics, little snippets for stories that swam in my head. Everytime I would start, I would tear it down. None of it felt good enough. I think I realize that is because I hadn't lived enough

I am currently building a commander deck from my "tried to make in work in standard/modern" days. Just my fav cards in Selesnya all mashed together. Not sure if have any similar but it has been fun to revisit them for me!

My partner and I watched the I choose You reboot movie a couple years ago and it destroyed us. For all for the problems of the franchise, they always come back to their core of unconditional love, friendship and acceptance
