In returning here to Bluesky, I bring a small doodle. my first OC, Cura, now provided a more proper attire!

but, that is simply me. I do not intend for my self-reflection to seem like shade or scorn to those who are still engaged with this community despite their age, and with time I realize I do not have to make Aquaphilia the ONLY trait I have. Thus, if I do return here I wish to make the most of it.

...the Aquaphilia simply wears off, or stops carrying the same intrigue it has while younger. at least, that's what I imagined. Thus it was a strange wake-up call to see those above 40 still engaging with this, and left me with questions I needed time to answer. (2/2)

I believe it's moreso a bit perturbing to me, imagining myself still engaging with what feels like a younger adult's experimenting with who they are at the same age I would see myself setting the example for those younger than me. Forgive me if it's rude to say but I imagine at some point (1/2)

Indeed some were understanding of my situation, and patient with how much I needed to find some sort of will to keep drawing requests. but in the end I felt rather self concious when discovering there were aquaphiliacs in their near 40's; and part of me didn't want to grow up being that way.

To answer your question; I believe the main issue I came across was simply that, despite going through a bit of self reflection on whether or not I wanted to continue making aquaphiliac content, I decided it not to be worth it given the lengths my audience was accustomed to.

You may not be wrong there, Macareu. I suppose I simply wasn't aware of just how far some are willing to take this form of art, so-- mayhaps I could try a bit more to be present here on bluesky. In due time, of course

perhaps not. In truth during my time away, I made the realization that though it is fun in some regard getting to vent such desires into art form, it wasn't for me to indulge in it with others. Thus, for now I will stick with watching from the sidelines.

Ah, fear not then. Thank you nonetheless for the kind wishes...! Thankfully over on Deviantart I've put out a posting call for similar OCs, so I will simply see and pray that I receive more than just vaporeons. ...not many entries but they seem rather prominent.

I must ask, then- do you perhaps know of any other eeveelution OCs across the internet? Alongside yours and a vampire on I have come across, I'm rather tempted to try and draw a group of all 8 eeveelutions as a group doodle during my time away from deviantart.
