2/ They exposed me to a lot of great live rock bands in my teenage years, because every school party was at someone's mansion, where they had a stage, dance floor, pool house, etc.

2/ So by the time I was in college, making decisions about what I wanted to do with my life, I was convinced at a deep level that I did *not* want the life of money + power that my parents expected I would have.

1/ I was fortunate to see a lot of that world close up in my junior high & high school years. Because I attended a very fancy secular private school—one that my parents were only able to afford because my mother was the principal of the elementary school, so my tuition was waived.

Yes! That echoes the overall impression I got as well—how needy & insecure & deep-down miserable those people are. If that's the life that power + money begets, I sure AF don't envy them.

I highly recommend this article on how the power elite network with each other. It's a creepy & thorough portrait of what we can call "the Epstein class." They aren't necessarily who you think they are, nor are their intel & status games what we generally know about.

I respectfully disagree. We need to repeat it every chance we get. Because journalists, even many in the mainstream media, read Bluesky. The more they hear the facts about his condition, the more inclined they will be to report on it.

Trump is, unfortunately, more than "just old." He is an old malignant narcissist with frontotemporal dementia.
