These actually looked more halloween-y before I painted them but I wanted them to fit my dragon-sona’s vibe and I’m really happy with how they came out!

They are made out of fun foam, a thrifted activewear shirt, lots of paint I had on hand, and a tiny bit of fleece fabric.

Coming back to share my halloween craft for the year! I have been reusing the same few accessories every halloween and decided its finally time to add to them.

These are a pair of dragon scale paws/gauntlets.

Hey its been a minute! not going to pretend my accidental art hiatus is going to stop because thats just my brain and social media is exhausting. Expect me to be gone for months again and post when I feel like it :P I appreciate all the peeps who stick around for it all!

Some of the most popular games of all time are toony and pixelated, and feel the most timeless BECAUSE their style is recognizeable and unique not just another hyper realistic game. I understand it has its place, but so does stylized simple styles!!

I once brought a florida avocado (mine was like the size of a football) thru TSA and it got flagged as well 🤣.

Got it home tho and made a whole bowl of guac from it. Grew the pit too and the tree is like 5ft tall now.

I hope that was a customer not a co-worker 😭 its sad how many people think like this these days.

you can always shave more but you can’t un-shave the fur. I’ve heard of a lot of people going as low as a 10 size guard i think? Which is very short and only good quality fur fabrics will look good that short.

Also!!! test ur clippers on a scrap of fur to get used to it before trying on the suit!!

It’s been a minute since I made my own suits but from what I remember you should get a pair of clippers intended for pet grooming, that way it’ll be better geared to the density and amount of fur you’ll be shaving. Start with a big guard and go smaller/shorter as you get more comfy with it.

Thinking about this plush I made back in 2021 a lot lately (its a lagiacrus from monster hunter!) I made the pattern myself and have since reused it for a dragon which I am now turning into a larger, more huggable dragon.

Sorry for no art the pokemon tcg had my freetime in a chokehold there for a sec but I am getting back to art making!

Am gonna be sharing a table at an event later this month so its time to make stuff :)

I am ACHING to make a story involving transness and dragons but I’m afraid I don’t have the writing skills or the art time to carry it through or properly convey how they are connected in my brain. 😭

In this house on the 4th we salute the flag 🫡

This was done last year, its my old binder from before I had top surgery. I spent a lot of time thinking of what I wanted to do with it, it didn’t feel right to get rid of it. So I decided to symbolize that journey with it.

Fabrics, ribbon and some beads were thrifted so its an upcycle project :)

A chest binder turned art project! There are two cuts down the side, now laced up with pink ribbon. The front panel has different colored fabrics that make up the same pattern as a trans flag. The words “KEEP GOING” are appliquéd in lace. Lines of beads adorn the pink fabric and sequins border the edge of the blue fabric.

The sun is a slightly oval shape, with embroidered lines to look like cracks. Beaded lines shoot out like rays of sunlight. The words “Outside that world I’ll always be waiting for you” are machine embroidered above the sun. Sequins and beads are sewn onto the top of the back to look like stars.
