Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.
The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

Maybe, but right now I want to make sure I support a candidate who actually supports working people.
I have several months before the primary to find out the motivations (good or ill) of those senior staffers.
I'm paying attention and using the years I have spent working with people to decide whether I trust that he has largely been a thoughtful person who is committed to serving is community and country.

From/living in Maine, Platner supports LGBTQ+ /full civil rights, unions, gov support systems, and is coming to towns to talk to people from every party. He is doing the work and we are paying attention.
