Decadesβold carbon reserves are widespread among tree species, constrained only by sapwood longevity

Our synthesis of D14C/age of tree ring carbon reserves is out. One highlight: we built a process model of reserve mixing in the sapwood, AND we share the code, so others can test hypotheses.
