That’s for robots! SONIC: You’d get shredded! - Sonic spikes his quills up, jabbing at Ivan’s hands suddenly, and the elephant reacts with pain and surprise. SONIC: Sorry to disappoint – Here’s a taste, doofus! IVAN: Gah! - Ivan loses his balance, about to fall out of the train. He looks below him in terror. Sonic looks on in surprise at what is happening. IVAN: Ah – Aah! SONIC: Woah, woah, woah! - Close up of Sonic grabbing Ivan by his foot. SFX: GRIP - Ivan is hanging by Sonic’s grip on his foot, scared. Sonic is barely able to hold on, gripping the frame of the open train door while leaning his whole body out. SONIC: G-gotcha…! Posting my stuff (1/2)

- Sonic, smirking at an off-panel Ivan still, reaches a single hand out behind his head as he sails through the air to grab hold of a jungle vine. - Sonic is now using the vine and his own momentum from getting thrown to swing himself back over in the direction of the train. SONIC: Tsk tsk! SONIC: All power, no precision! - Back on the train, Sonic uses both his feet to kick Ivan in the face. SONIC: Knux’ll love knowing there’s a bozo out here with worse aim than him. SONIC: Someone to give the guy a run for his – - Ivan swings a wild and furious punch at Sonic, who backflips off of Ivan before he’s hit. SONIC: Whoop! IVAN: Nrargh! IVAN: Why are you on train?! IVAN: Why are you in Station Square?! - Sonic does a three point landing on top of one of the train seats, shrugging, grinning, and raising a brow at Ivan, who is now off-panel. SONIC: To help with all the damage those earthquakes did? SONIC: And hey, I just like trains, dude! Nothing wrong with that!

- Ivan charges in to grab Sonic, wincing because Sonic has hopped out of the way of Ivan’s attack, doing a one-armed handstand on his head. IVAN: RARGH! SONIC: So what’s your deal? SONIC: Do a self-guided tour of the Mystic Ruins as a little treat before jail time? SONIC: So tourist-y! - Ivan swings a backhanded fist in a wide arc above his head as he screams at Sonic. IVAN: You know nothing! IVAN: I am not going to jail! - Close-up of Ivan, looking fearful. SFX: VREE-VREE-VEEEE - Ivan holds his hands out, afraid as Sonic spindashes into them. His back is to the open train door. SONIC: I definitely heard some of those people out there. SONIC: Saying stuff like “Get him!” and “Murderer!” ‘atcha. IVAN: Gyaah! - Ivan clamps his hands down on Sonic fearfully, stopping the spindash and keeping him locked in that curled up position, with Sonic upside down and facing the readers with a surprised expression. Ivan’s hands are fine. SFX: CLAMP! SONIC: Woah, hey!

Ivan is looking down at Sonic w/ horror. Outside the train are trees. SONIC: ~ ♪ SONIC: Now that’s an angry mob. Huge. SONIC: And lemme guess – This was gonna be your “getaway vehicle?” Close-up lower angle of Ivan’s terrified face. This is his worst nightmare. Sonic speaks from off-panel. SONIC: Seems like you picked the wrong train, buddy. Same shot, but further away now (mid-shot). From the bottom right of the panel is Sonic’s extended hand, looking to shake Ivan’s. Ivan looks irritated. SONIC: Sonic. Slight lower angle from Ivan’s POV. Sonic is staring directly at the reader w/ a smug face. His hand is extended toward us. SONIC: Sonic the Hedgehog.
