It’s unconstitutional to nationalize elections and they won’t that one in court. They can’t (famous last words). Even SCOTUS (minus 2) won’t go along with that.

The idea of a divided government, two parties, is to fight it out—find consensus and then agree on a position that embraces some of this, some of that. Compromise.
