Unfortunately, the local Indivisible group has stayed neutral with my race. I recently sent an email after the DCCC endorsement of my opponent, and have not heard back from them.

I have yet to hear back from the local DSA & PSL, too.

I certainly hope this isn't a time for Orgs to make "exceptions"

I’m doing this while working full-time, back in school, and continuing my professional commitments on weekends.

And still, hundreds of people across 21 counties have already stepped forward to support ballot access.

That tells me something far more important than institutional backing ever could.

Ballot access in this district requires 1,745 signatures in 21 counties.

We’ve already gathered hundreds of those signatures, operating with less than $2,500, no institutional backing.

That is what building a real campaign looks like. It’s harder. And it’s accountable to the people, not donors.

I’ve actually been through DCCC training myself. It gave me a very clear picture of how they operate and how they decide who to elevate.

So their endorsement doesn’t frustrate me. It simply helps define the difference between this campaign and others.

I’ve been in the race since July, covered in Iowa media, registered with the FEC, and speaking across the district since.

When you’re building without institutional backing, you don’t get handed visibility. You earn it.
