No idea how it works in terms of codecs or whatever but they did not lock down the ability to play videos.

If there is ever genuine Switch 2 homebrew, you'll hear it from trusted scene members or news websites, not some random TikTok user.

Be careful with trusting videos that show homebrew allegedly running on Switch 2. It is very easy to play a video through the browser. (If you're wondering how to get a video in a browser, it's the same method as Switch 1, using a custom captive portal.)

Let's be clear about something, the Nintendo Switch 2 was NOT hacked on day one. That video by David Buchanan is a Switch 1 game exploit transferred over to Switch 2, which is very limited due to sandboxing. It is not useful for hacking the console. #Switch2 #NintendoSwitch2
