Every person you meet is having a pretty hard life.

Sure, there are some exceptions, and yes people can be jerks. But just imagine how you were on your worst day, and remember that someone you're interacting with is having theirs.

Be patient and kind when you can.

At my neighborhood park there is a little mini "library" asking people to take a book, leave a book.

Have really felt like the local community here is pretty good.

If you're someone who struggles with finishing projects (like me), don't tell people about your work in progress to get the dopamine hit. Wait until you're done.

Often we subconsciously want the praise that comes with accomplishment. Better to finish and then get your flowers.

HOAs are awful, right? Yes, but...

You can make them better.

Most HOAs have elections every few years where the home owners can pick new people for their board.

If you are tired of bad decisions and restrictions, organize! Start a neighborhood WhatsApp, meet, communicate.

I'm not going cold turkey cause thay makes me non functional. I started every 2 days, now down to every 3 days. Headaches start a bit in between.

Biggest thing was breaking the ritual of coffee every morning. Goal is 0 though.

I hope this is the last time I quit caffeine. These headaches are no jokes, but I know I'll be so much better off once I cut the chord once and for all.

In a world of AI, bots, and synthetic experiences, people now more than ever want something real.

Make sure that you're putting time into the friendships that matter. The people that will message you out of the blue just to see how you're doing, when they don't need anything.

Hang onto those.

I've been talking a lot about how I dislike events, but at the same time like hanging out with a bunch of different friends.

So what I've encouraged my friends to do is get together at an agreed to location, rent a place, and just hang out.

Play games, visit places, vibe.

Aki is a great person who has struggled greatly the past several months. Their art work is great, so if you can support in any way, I would implore you to.

Also of note, she is trying to give you pretty incredible value for your support.

It's kind of crazy that whenever a post goes viral about leftist self- sabotaging by forming purity tests, that leftists race to prove that person's point by naming their crux issue and stating their unwillingness to see past it.

Is there a name for this yet? There should be.

Not sure who needs to hear this, but

It's easy to change the world, you just have to start local. Yourself, your neighbors, your friends. Build community, be kind, treat each other well, drive people to do better. Create something positive and good.

Do that and you will absolutely change the world

Every time I go, I am reminded that it's the best gaming event on the calendar and it's not close.

Evo is what every other gaming event wishes it could be and truly captures the competitive spirit of gaming.
