There is no stomach in this country for the only way to fix this, and I don’t see that ever existing unless things get so bad that we have to just start over from scratch.

This one made the news, but this level of corruption and cronyism is happening all the time, all over, and our systems are rotting so deeply that I genuinely don’t have a clue how we fix it, if we even can.
