I've fallen down a bit of a rabbit hole on Youtube. I discovered a handful of folks that restore classic Dinky and Corgi toys and now it's led on to folk who restore antique handguns from rusted lumps. It's absolutely fascinating and really quite mesmerising to see the finished item emerge from crap

I once randomly found a #FlyWales plane on FlightRadar and sort of adopted it, checking in regularly to see where it's going and follow it. So when its plan takes it across the view out of my workshop window, it's a very odd thrill to see it fly past.

The thing that convinced me was that Hotep is an Egyptian word/name so it was most likely pronounced like that in the Lovecraftian monster too.

That's how I pronounce them. A lot of folk go with Nyar-Latho-tep.

Hot glue will fix that. I've kept kids in our school in shoes for months and some of them were in far worse condition than that. (I'm not joking)

I seem to recall that the company owner (Hunter Gordon?) had health issues and completely disappeared for long stretches as well.

It makes sense, really. Very little armed combat on the ISS.

I read with interest that Mongoose's new near future RPG, Pioneer, has no combat system, which I think is a really interesting move. I mean you can probably shoot guns but, like Call of Cthulhu, there's not really any point 😁
