I'm listening to the Pod Save America interview with Platner. Farveau asked him directly about the allegations that he knew that tattoo was a Nazi symbol and Platner never comes close to answering the question. He just moves into talking about meeting real people who think he's a real person.

The way the heroes Voltronned into their combination form in Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills was (and still kinda is) pretty unique. Wish they had the budget to make this, and everything else, look better. Plus the battles needed to be less anticlimactic.

I find it funny that in one universe Babs is friends with Pam & in in another she's friends with Harley.

BoomBoom and PomPom are snuggled together on the sand, shyly nuzzling their heads together and holding hands. Wendy is tanning in a beach chair beside them, lifting heart-shaped sunglasses to smirk at them.

An #art #commission I finished recently of #Bowser and the #Koopalings from #Mario having fun in the sun! I worked hard on the colors to try to make it look really bright and cheerful.

Produced by Ivan Reitman (“Space Jam,” “Ghostbusters”), this new direct-to-video animated feature is a prequel to the syndicated children’s series “Mummies Alive!” (7:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday, WPWR-Ch. 50). But Reitman’s presence fails to elevate this generic, violence-laden cartoon to the top of the kids’ show pyramid. Wrap the Power Rangers or Ninja Turtles in bandages, and you’ve got the Mummies. From the pulsating theme music to the Mummies’ war cry–“Let’s kick some Tut,” the show stays true to the animated adventure genre. It’s all about good fighting evil, with the emphasis on fighting. (Energy blasts and karate kicks are the preferred weapons here.) Good thing these heroes come wrapped in their own bandages, as one mummy notes in the film.
