Maven Is a New Social Network That Eliminates Followers—and Hopefully Stress Twitter cofounder Ev Williams is backing a new social network called Maven, which trades likes and follows for algorithms designed to foster serendipity and deep discussion.

Previously I cofounded a social media start up called Maven, which focused on using AI to promote serendipity (www.wired.com/story/maven-...). Our earliest members were also AI researchers. While the company shut down, I'm excited to see a new place for positive and open discussions about AI!
