If you are a federal worker being offered a buyout, I would advise against taking it.

Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and it’s your choice.

But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word.

They aren’t firing for a reason.

We highly advised for all federal employees not to respond to or open OPM emails. Our coalition will be advised on additional precautions. Reports of a hostile takeover at OPM have been circulating. More details will be released in the future.

Winning an election doesn’t mean you get to disregard laws passed by Congress and signed into law by the former president.

In 2022, Congress explicitly made these firings illegal, after Trump had fired several whom he considered disloyal after his first impeachment.

Everyone was warned about this, and it’s happening just as we feared.

Americans voted for cheaper groceries. Less than a week on the job and Trump's already managed to get us into a trade war that will drive up the cost of coffee and be a gut-punch to American farmers and manufacturers, all because Colombia hurt his feelings.

The Trump administration claims that expanding oil and gas drilling would help lower grocery costs. In reality, increasing American oil production—which is already booming—would have little to no effect.
