It's quite funny really, we went from boilers and water storage tanks to combi's, and now we're going back to having water tanks. Could prove eventful fitting them into modern houses with inadequate storage/attic space.

Yeah I've already done this previously, we never done the foundations for a switch but I've ensured ample space for everything that's required when I remodelled a few years ago for such an eventuality. People don't quite realise the kit involved, it's rarely a like for like.

I've thought about it, but I only have quite a new boiler, so it's hard to justify changing over just now. I think I'll do it when I combine it with solar and batteries and an electric car in truth.

It 100% has to be this in fairness, it's been comedy gold all season, especially with *that* filter.

Equally I grew up in the USA, I've spent my adult life in the UK. I've realised schools don't need metal detectors, police officers or security. Because the only school shooting they had was 30 years ago, they outright banned gun ownership across the board because they actually cared about children

Oh it's been a game changer for desk use. Charge mouse/ plug in SSD/ power wireless charging station, power laptop, charge switch. Ring need to get on board and ditch the Mini B from their doorbell and I'd have 1 cable type for all!

Yeah it's a fair point. I've not searched them recently. Any I have are old and simply couldn't do what current ones can. Example being a 2 port one taking over 24 hours to charge my phone and switch simultaneously but clearly there are way better options as of late!

That's pretty tight actually. I'm so used to seeing just the standard plugs with multiple USBs and they suck historically

Yeah if you check the spec sheet on my of them they're usually well explained what each port can provide when all are connected etc.

Yeah so true in fairness. Now everything I have can be charged with USB-C which makes a difference overall

These kind split the power though so everything takes longer to charge overall. I do think however they've got some new multi port fast chargers that I need to have a look at now you've brought it to my attention
