I recommend u do a monochrome study like i did then!! It's so much easier when u only need to control one variable

They are!! I recommend u start with a b&w base and try to use the entire spectrum from pure black to pure white like the quoted pic. After that u can mess around with values until u get something u like. Most of these started off of default maps meant for skies and then adjusted to my taste
