Today, he was frequenting one of his new, favored spots in Lumiose — Café Pokémon Amie! A reliable spot for a hearty meal or pastry, or whatever he was in the mood for.

Better yet, it was a common spot for trainers to discuss bonds with their 🔽

Well, that had been concluded, in the wake of Ange demolishing the center of the city . . . for a second time.

𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘓𝘶𝘮𝘪𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩 𝘢 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬? 𝘊𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘏𝘌?

Ash hadn't received some grand calling to return home yet; nothing to call him off to a new adventure, just yet . . .

The 𝐙-𝐀 𝐑𝐎𝐘𝐀𝐋𝐄 was a tournament of great renoun; at least within Lumiose. He had eyes, ears, and friends in the city, and they'd drawn him to a tournament with new and exciting Mega Stones on the line, to help him elevate his precious Pokémon to new heights! What's not to like!?

Many times over, that'd been a set of badges to pursue, and a league to challenge. Sometimes, it was scrapping with villainy; be it a criminal orgnization, or three stoges in a Meowth blimp making everyone's lives mildly inconvenient.

Lumiose City was, luckily, 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 with things to do & see!

Well, for starters, that wasn't a particularly easy task. Ash was a man of action — a man of movement; a strange blend of incredibly disciplined, and very easily distracted; quick to throw himself into whatever was happening in front of him!

Ash reclined and folded his arms behind his head, stargazing in Vulcan's proximity. Ash'd suspected he was wild, but now he knew.

“ Mmm, yeah. I've heard. A few of my Pokémon who spent a lot of time in the wild've told me the same. Sounds rough. ”

If she's the Unova Champion, maybe he should bring some of his Unovan Pokémon! Make it a hometown throwdown!
