And yep I get lots of students who I don’t even teach coming to me for a snack lol. The school lunch just isn’t cutting it for many of these kids, it’s so minimal.

Thank you! I tried to diversify the snack options so students aren’t eating the same thing every day. I get anywhere from 2-10 kids asking for something to eat daily so I figured I’d change it up a bit. I had mostly cheese it’s and Belvita crackers but those have been gobbled up!

Yep! It’s a magnet school and they’re really trying to encourage lower performing students to take APHUG (not IB) and IB TOK. Each child no matter what is encouraged (not forced) to take a college level class. Studies have shown students are more prepared for college and critical thinking even—

Aw man that stinks. None of our funding goes to snacks either. Most of my students’ only meal of the day is the lunch we provide. I hardly got any of the teaching supplies I asked for this year and it’s only going to get worse!

I tried to put some cheap snacks on there but any help is appreciated. Many students go home to no dinner at night and no food on the weekends. I try to help where I can, but I seem to have a lot of hungry kids this year and want to help them. Even sharing this would be super helpful!

Yessss!!!! I found meclazine at CVS, I was prescribed a large dose for my vertigo years ago. I didn’t know it was OTC. I took 2 and I suddenly could ride rides again!

Every single fucking resource I use in my classes has to be approved. My curriculum is a shell that I have to fill in because there are no textbooks. How can I spend all this time getting shit approved? I have no time. Teachers quit bc of shit like micromanaging. Fucking MAGA needs to step back.
