It is gorgeous! ๐
02.10.2025 04:38 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0After the first few rows this becomes nice and repetitive, but with enough interest to keep me engaged. Iโm on my 2nd blanket and love it www.purlsoho.com/create/2015/...
29.09.2025 07:12 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A clear and relevant response, very much what I was thinking while watching the video myself. Thank you. However, I was rather distracted by that gorgeous hat! Whatโs the pattern?

Absolutely!
Congratulations on a gorgeous sweater!

21.07.2025 08:04 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Schoppelwolle is lovely to work with, and I love that it comes with a โhealth warningโ: caution: knitting can be addictive ๐คฃ
21.07.2025 06:30 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0You can get reflective thread that you hold together with the yarn and it makes fun reflective speckles. I use it on hats for kids

04.07.2025 20:55 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0But do you have the right yarn? And do you have enough of it?
02.07.2025 07:48 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Good lighting is essential, when working in poor lighting my work gets closer and closer to my face. Propping up my elbows with cushions also helps relax my shoulders. Someone suggested a cushion on your lap so that the work isnโt โtoo far awayโ to start with ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ not tried that though
02.07.2025 07:47 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0I always add a bellybutton to toys I make ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ makes them more fun

23.06.2025 20:05 โ ๐ 33 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 3 ๐ 0I thread the balls on to a spare circular needle, taking the one in use off and sliding it back into the other side, keeps them all in order. You could also pop them into individual bags and then thread and tie them together in order
23.06.2025 18:48 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Knitting math: cast on 75 stitches, knit 15 rows, unravel 10 times. Repeat.
Adding markers every 10/20 stitches has helped. And recounting again before adding the next one
23.06.2025 12:44 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0If you have a long circular knitting needle, thread the unused colours on to it in order. That way they all turn at the same rate and you can slip the last one onto one side and pull the next off the other
21.06.2025 08:16 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Do you have a link to the shop?
19.06.2025 08:48 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Not that I want to detract from your work. Anything that prolongs the joy of a knitted object is well worth it ๐
16.06.2025 05:23 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0This is my favourite way to repair knitting: youtu.be/6U3IEUdddUY?.... I struggled to make the weaving method anything less than very obvious. But this duplicates stitches quickly and easily. I use locking markers to hold the stitches until I am ready to work them

When knitting flat I also use cable needles. I thread the ball(s) not currently in use onto my cable so that they at least are out of the way and turn together with the work. A sample here when making Best of both whirls blanket by Wolly Wormhead
