Is it me or is @tcmtv.bsky.social not showing any of the classic Univeral horror films much this Halloween season? (none of them are even on TCM’s On Demand, either!🤷🏻‍♀️) Is it some kind of licensing issue & they just don’t want to pay for the rights? Seems like it’s been that way the last few yrs!😕

Yes, agree!😬 Kind of bleak approach to the characters!

Yeah, that was one of the few sci-fI shows that I just couldn’t get into as a kid, it was just seemed too weird in an off-putting way!😄

Oh, speaking of sci-fi world-building, I just finished reading your “Sol Majestic“ & LOVED it! I was crying by the end of it! (happy tears of course; the best kind!😄) Great characters & I loved the way you worked in scathing commentary on social-class into a story about a cosmic gourmet-restaurant!☺️

I do that too with some of the rulebooks/guides for the RPG’s that I haven’t actually played in years, but I still enjoy looking at the cool artwork & the character-classes/world-building guidelines (which I think were good practice for my own writing skills back in school!), like D&D & Starfinder.
