牧場のお馬さん達の黒い影が走行中の車から見えたけど暗すぎて写真にはうまく写っていなかった

It’s gradually getting darker earlier.
The horses in silhouette in the paddock from the running-car window, but it was too dark for my camera to capture them.

We often see this plant, but it is also not California native. It's from South Africa.

I found a very old postcard addressed to my grandfather from Russia during my visit to my parents’ house this spring. The sender’s name, in beautiful calligraphy, is too artistic to read. It only says, “August, at Moscow.” Interestingly, it is written “Moskoh” in English pronunciation in katakana instead of “Moskva.” The year was 1908. I had to check when the Russian Revolution occurred.

I’ve been wondering whose voice it is for several weeks, and finally, I spotted her/him this morning.
S/he looks like a red-tailed hawk, a bit larger than Cooper’s.

木の幹に張り付いている様なリスさん
写真を加工したら空を飛んでるみたいに見えるかな
その後木の高いところに駆け登ってしまった

Mr. Squirrel looks as if he is stuck to the tree trunk.
If I edit the photo, I wonder whether he appears to be flying.
Then, he ran up high in the tree.
