and just to expand on my own personal ✨lore ✨ it was because I had this desire to walk down memory lane and try to find some of my fave SHINee fics. and I managed to find an author, and they wrote yoonkook and I read it, and just fell hard. I can't find who that is now, I kind of want to hunt...

yoonkook, SPECIFICALLY hyyh yoonkook. the emo angst really dragged me under (and the number of times I had to open tabs and look up yoongi/jungkook to remind myself which one had the mint hair was what made me learn all their names).

yeah this is frustrating, I'm sure they'll introduce new abilities that'll look cool, but they should still integrate what they can into the older ones instead of forcing fans to buy new ones after spending so much on tickets. capitalism sucks.
