I think a breather that gives some important constituencies desperately needed funding without relinquishing leverage makes sense.
Indeed I doubt it is even an option- Thune said he wont offer that bill anymore. So it could be a freebie to state you’ll vote for it
Would you object to just voting for the current House bill which funds the government to November 21? I think it’s a valuable reset, funds programs, pays people and retains all the leverage.
