I'm working on a T4T vampire/werewolf horromance.
Name TBA, but the basic gist is that the main character goes back to his hometown (a tourist-trap hiking town deep in the mountains of BC), and finds a bunch things have gone deeply wrong in his absence.

"From the Sea Fret" is a queer/trans cosmic/body horror about Callum Point. In the dead-end town of Perne, there's always fog in the bay. Callum discovers a mystery that hangs just out of reach, and he can hear it calling his name.

Definitely stand-alone. I have yet to write a series (let alone, a sequel), and I'm not sure if I ever will. I like the stories I write to be fully encapsulated within one book. It just works better for my brain.

Yeah! It feels weird to be asked to care more for concepts than for the art of the writing itself

This trope-ification era of books is something that's really gotten under my skin in the past few months. I tried to get behind it, but really it just rubs me the wrong way
