lol… the Bears have $110 MILLION in cap space next year. That’s without cutting Grady Jarrett or Dayo which would save another $28 million. They’re going to spend A LOT.

1. They’ll immediately have to restructure his deal to get it down to maybe $20 million or so for this year. They don’t even have that much right now (they have ~$18 million) so…

2. They’ll have to cut Edmunds…

The Bears are getting A LOT of praise for the DJ Moore move. I very much fear it will be short lived. Again, I’d be excited for the Maxx Crosby press release, but shortly after I’ll recognize it just doesn’t make sense considering the massive holes everywhere.

“Mid-round pick” feels like a 4th which… the Bills 4th isn’t great value obviously. Will cross my fingers for a 3rd, but very much expecting a 4th.

I get that a lot of Bears fans want Maxx Crosby now. I get that it might happen. I myself will be excited if it happens! Gotta say though, that sort of move has literally never worked in the history of moves like that so I’ll be skeptical until a move like that works.

Thought there was a good chance of this going into the offseason. It was certain when Dalman retired. Will be interesting to see what the pick it. I’m ELATED that they got him to a winning organization. Hated the idea of him and another young QB. Despite the numbers, had an all-time Bears season.
