To just put a fine point on it: Parents do not, in fact, have legitimate concerns about trans kids playing sports.

Just because they believe bullshit doesn’t make it legitimate.

Fuck anti-trans bigots.

Don’t cater to bigots. It’s very simple.

Trans kids deserve respect and most importantly a childhood!

Leave ‘em the fuck alone and let ‘em be kids.

The answer is: Hell yes, trans kids should be able to participate in sports according to how they identify.

The emotional damage done by rejecting a kid’s identity is the real concern here. Not the bigotry of a busybody parent trying to bully that one kid.

It's normal to want pain relief when you are in constant pain. Chronic pain patients shouldn't be labeled "drug seekers" and if they need opioids for pain, that shouldn't be stigmatized or questioned. Additionally, drug use for other reasons shouldn't carry the level of stigma that it does either.
