Great time at Duke Divinity School with Stanley Hauerwas. I offered a reflection on his new bookโJesus Changes Everything: A New World Made Possibleโfollowed by a conversation with Stanley & Charles Moore. To be honest, no one has influenced my political theology more than this renowned theologian.

A few years ago, I was reading โThat All Shall Be Savedโ by David Bentley Hart.
In it, he talks about how Christians who believed God would ultimately redeem everyone through His mercy were called a slur: the โMisericordesโ - meaning the merciful hearted.

I am a big believer that love is fierce.
It is resilient, and able to fight tooth and nail for the Other. It holds on through adversity, with bloody knuckles and gritted teeth.
But yesterday, I saw a love that was tender and gentle, easy and naturalโฆ and I realized I want that too.
Playing D&D / Painting TTRPG minis is my new hobby.
Playing with yo-yos is my lifelong hobby.
