I had the good fortune of speaking to students at the University of Houston recently. The more I speak with Gen Z about cinema, the more I realize Hollywood has been far too slow to adjust to the tastes of younger viewers.
Studios need to fix this and fast.

Read some comics yesterday!
Daniel Warren Johnson's TRANSFORMERS run was stellar. Vol 4 was the best of the bunch. Incredible stuff. Actually teared up at one point.
SOMETHING IS KILLING THE CHILDREN: Maybe the greatest issue #1 of a comic I've ever read? Late to the party but fully in. Excellent

Paramount Skydance is anti-#MeToo. They're in with alleged sexual predators. There are so many talented writers and filmmakers out there who could make a meal of these franchises, and the studio is bouncing back to toxic sex pests like Max Landis and Brett Ratner?

It's hard to believe but SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY and AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY may well hit theaters with a very limited IMAX release overseas and that's it.
Will Marvel try to shift the release dates? Or are they content to surrender a lot of money at the box office?

SCREAM 7: One could do a whole lot worse - and I mean a WHOLE LOT worse - when it comes to the seventh entry in a long running slasher series.
It's a SCREAM movie! Not a lot of new ideas but it's comfortable in a way I enjoyed. What can I say?

Participated in the first ever Goliath 50 trail race today. 3:56:00 and change 20 miler. I got 5th in the category. I was pretty blown away by that. If I may? F*** yeah.
