U.S. House rejects aviation safety bill after Pentagon abruptly withdraws support The House of Representatives narrowly rejected a bipartisan aviation safety bill that was spurred by the deadly midair collision near Washington, D.C., after the Pentagon abruptly withdrew support.

Wittman today voted to kill the ROTOR Act, which would ensure that deadly mid-air collisions like the one in Washington in 2025 would never happen again. The bill was written by Ted Cruz, and had bipartisan support - until the Pentagon expressed "concerns."

And when will Congress hold Trump accountable for a shrinking economy, inflation, tariff chaos, foreign policy disasters, and unconstitutional abuses of power?

Wittman wants us to believe “The state of our union is strong.” Inflation is up, GDP is down, and the Fed says the economy is “underperforming.” POTUS is threatening Iran, our allies, and the courts while most of his Cabinet is corrupt. A better title would be, “The state of our union is a debacle.”
