I’m not sharing for hype or support, but to say…society can be cruel and bullying has lasting effects. These are the only bodies we have. Don’t turn people against their own. There are enough other struggles we all face on the daily, no need to add to someone’s traumas.

Why are there leaf blowers? What is the actual point? I have AirPods with noise cancelling and can-style ear phones over those with noise cancelling and it is still so LOUD!

I thought I was going to hate section three, turning the work as much as I’m knitting, but I kind of got into it.

My completed and blocked knitted shawl from the 2025 “Mystery MusiKAL” by designer Stephen West, pinned neatly on blocking mats. The shawl features bold geometric patterns and flowing wavy stripes in shades of teal, red, cream, and navy. The design transitions from diamond motifs to textured ridges and curving lines, showcasing intricate stitchwork and color blending. The even edges and defined shapes highlight the finishing process, with light from a nearby window illuminating the texture and color detail.

It’s very interesting. And it’s very chaotic. I bound off early after making too many brioche mistakes. There’s really only one thing I don’t like about the design, and it’s that straight line between sections 1 and 3. Otherwise, I dig the vibe. #MysteryMusiKAL #westknits #knitting #MKAL2025

After watching Young Frankenstein on Friday, I can’t stop humming “roll, roll, roll in the hay.”
