5/6 β Outcome: Ascites volume decreased over time, and the patient's weight and appetite recovered. This highlights that "rapid accumulation" can be a vital early warning sign in high-risk patients.

22.02.2026 23:13 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 03/6 π© The Clue: After draining the abdomen and pausing PD for just 1 day, 500 mL of fibrin-rich ascites rapidly re-accumulated. Biomarkers (IL-6 & CA-125) were also markedly elevated. The physiology signaled EPS before the radiology did.
