The Adventures of Starman

Trevor Milton is the founder and former CEO of Nikola Corporation, a company that promised revolutionary hydrogen-electric vehicles to rival Tesla. With bold claims and flashy presentations, Milton captivated investors and the public—boasting about trucks that were fully operational when, in reality, many were non-functional or even staged. In 2020, investigative reports revealed that a promotional video showing a Nikola truck in motion was actually filmed rolling downhill, powered by gravity, not innovation. This led to federal investigations, and in 2022, Milton was convicted of fraud for misleading investors with exaggerated and false statements about Nikola’s technology and progress. This moment is captured in a scene from The Adventures of Starman: Operation Dark Stone, Part 1.
