I did show my dummy to publishers last year:) Usually they go through the pages as you do your pitch and tell them about the story. The time you have vastly depends on the publisher. Good luck for the fair! I'll be there too:)

Penguins learn to swim, but aren't very good at it at first. I photographed this trio of juveniles at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo. They were having a marvelous time in the water, but kept bumping into each other, splashing, and bobbing back up to the surface when they tried to dive–It was fun to see.
