Whoever made the achievement to not get a single coin in World 1 is fucked up though.

Sonic and the Black Knight (replay)

An underrated gem where the real star isn't the fun, speedy sword-slashing gameplay, but the well-crafted and surprisingly heartfelt story. Always a good time revisiting this one.

I may be a little biased, as this comes in a very rough time in my life. But this was the exact pick-me-up I needed. It's good to have such a quirky, fun series back on its A-Game. Maybe a little derivative of past entries here and there, but I sincerely enjoyed my time.

A mural of every single cousin that I drew for my "Days of Katamari" countdown project! The Prince is the biggest for maybe the first time in his life, but this is because he is the main protagonist. Thank you all so much for joining me on this- hey wait... who's that in the top left?

Yeah I know I'm probably preaching to the choir here but this feels like two movies stitched together once you hit the third act. And I vastly prefer what it was going for before the big turn. Ah well, can't win 'em all.

Still mostly goated, with a few rough patches here and there. I used to think this was the best of the trilogy but it's probably on par with Prime 1 for me now.

Final bosses seem rough at first but are actually really easy when you know what to do.

Fun, trashy B-movie style horror game by Torture Star. Lot of silly cutscenes and fun areas to traverse. Sound effects were a bit too loud, and the final level was pretty bad, though.

I feel like I maybe set my expectations a bit high but I still had a good enough time.

Again, I know some people have honest, if a bit misguided intentions with that discussion. But I digress.

Point of the matter, chill out a little. You get one life, don't spend so much of it chastising the works of people who're trying to alleviate the tension in the real world.

And on the topic of fanservice stuff I guess, I understand having a personal problem, sure. But if you're one of those people who say anything like that in ANY media is bad, you're a fascist, full stop. In this age where censorship of sexual expression is a real concern, you are not fucking helping.

Sometimes a story has a pretty explicit, clear message to push by getting a little racy with the boundaries of gender, race, orientation, etc. It's not all one thing or another, peeps.

Ultimately I just think stories are more fascinating and introspective of their authors when they're a bit messy.

Because of that, I can't bring myself to get up in arms whenever the fiction doesn't match my exact politics.

Of course, it's a different story when talking about stories that are pretty clearly and heinously right-wing. But I ain't talkin about that right now.

With regards to those smaller things, maybe the author had a deeper meaning to what they were doing, maybe it was unintentional.

At the end of the day, you do not know the people who make these stories. The experiences they've had, which have shaped what they make.
