Both totally free and open source. Livewire and Inertia 2.0 flavors. Tailwind 4. Maybe something like @shadcn for the Inertia variant?
What do you think?
The simple starter kit would be the equivalent of today's Laravel Breeze. Basic registration, authentication, password reset, profile management.
The SaaS starter kit would include all of that, teams, Stripe Checkout integration with Cashier, and more. π°
Think something like "laravel/simple-starter-kit" and "laravel/saas-starter-kit"... and maybe more in the future? "laravel/api-starter-kit"... "laravel/ai-starter-kit"? Easy to inspect what is included, easy to accept community contributions. π
In the next few weeks we'll be kicking off work on new Laravel starter kits. Here's what I'm thinking...
I don't think the starter kits should be packages. Instead, I think they should just be GitHub repositories you clone. All of the code lives in your application, no "install" commands. π¨
Just shipped my first rich text editor.
I'm super proud of it.
Even if you don't use Flux, taking a peak at the blog post I just wrote up is worth your time: fluxui.dev/blog/2024-11...
Shipped a few apps to Cloud this week. Spent some time working on our 2025 plan for Laravel. Good vibes all around. β€οΈ

At this rate I'm going to have to design a new drop-down menu to fit all the meetups!
