Both those cities are in Canada. Perhaps the ill patient doesn’t have a visa to enter Canada and crew & plane logistics means passengers will endure a smaller delay by flying back to Chicago. Basically bigger picture items that won’t be apparent to most people.

All well & good, but most of their passengers, frequent flyers included, won’t know who Lufthansa Group are. They’ll assume it’s Lufthansa and not relevant to them if they’re say flying with Austrian or Swiss.

Interesting to read that Qatar & Solomon Islands have signed an open-skies deal. Will be interesting to see if we see the island nation pop up in QR's schedule in coming years.

Didn’t help that their price labels were all ‘Prime member prices’ - not everyone has or wants Prime membership, so how much am I going to be charged?

At the till we found the non-members price for the 2 items we bought was the same as members price. Devious! Next hurdle, we couldn’t use Apple Pay.

That vertical bar… otherwise known as pipe in computing. 😬

And they’ve tightened up the requirement to be in the ‘home country’ more than in roaming countries. This ensures you’re not abusing free roaming by signing up for & constantly using a cheaper service from another country.

If Qatar Airways do invest in Air Mauritius we'll see a new destination added to their ever-expanding route map. As QR are short of aircraft, will we see Air Mauritius as the sole operator between MRU and DOH?

Riyadh Air Launching London Flights With Ex-Oman Air Boeing 787? It would appear that Riyadh Air may be launching Riyadh to London flights in the near future, but not with the expected plane.

Riyadh Air hasn’t yet taken delivery of its first new Dreamliner, because of supply issues. So it looks like they’ll be using their ex-Oman Air Boeing 787-9 for this route.

Sounds like the mistake most couples & families make - each having their own item of checked luggage. 😱

Mix it all up - then if a case is delayed arriving at your destination, you’ve still got clothes and are less inconvenienced. 😎

They apparently rolled it back to 100ml while they ironed out a software issue (that presumably only came to light when multiple scanners were in operation).

Each IAG airline serves a very specific purpose with almost no crossover.

BA: Linking London & Europe with North America plus a few other bits
IB: Linking Europe with Latin America
EI: Serving Ireland & providing low-cost links to North America
VY: The airline of Barcelona
LL: Low-cost long-haul

BA's Twilight bag drop is only available between 6pm & 9pm for next-morning flights departing before 1pm.

With MH it's up to 24 hours before a flight's scheduled departure time.

And MH will let you do check your luggage in the day before. Came in useful few months ago travelling on multiple tickets, arrived in KUL with our departing flight the next morning. Checking in two cases meant we had less to lug to / from the hotel.
